Dr. Khamis is an associate professor at the University of Glasgow, where he leads research into the field of Human-centered Security.
Dr. Khamis has made significant scientific contributions to the fields of Human-Computer Interaction and security. He has 100+ publications on related topics, including Safety, Privacy, and Security in Virtual Reality.
His research has been funded by the UK National Cyber Security Centre, the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council, the Royal Society of Edinburgh, and others. Dr. Khamis received his Ph.D. from the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich in 2018.
