IJM Center to End Online Sexual Exploitation of Children
John is Executive Director of IJM’s Center to End Online Sexual Exploitation of Children. He lived in and led IJM teams in the Philippines for 7 years to help protect children from child sexual abuse online. Leveraging effective practices from International Justice Mission’s Philippines program, John leads a team of subject matter experts partnering with global stakeholders to support (1) effective justice system responses in source and demand-side countries and (2) technology and financial sector improvements to detect and report live-streamed child sexual exploitation, all resulting in sustainable protection for children and accountability for perpetrators.
In 2022, John published a blog, Lessons From Lockdown: Protecting Children From Livestreamed Sexual Exploitation In A Post-Pandemic World, in SlaveFreeToday by the Journal of Modern Slavery.
